Customer Spotlight

OneontaPublicLibrary Oneonta Public Library, AL

Oneonta Public Library currently has six workstations, all funded by grant money, located in the children’s area. The workstations are always in use! Children come by after school, leave Mom and Dad searching the stack, and head straight to the computers. The children love being able to work independently; the art games seem to be most popular

Library Director, Ricky Statham Jr. says, “If there is a child in the library, more likely than not, they are on the AWE Learning computers.”

Programming Idea from Oneonta Public Library’s Director: If you do a story time about a specific color, the young learners can go onto the AWE Learning computers, pull up the art games, and create their own creation with that color! The possibilities are endless!

Shuter Library of Angel Fire, NM

As a small resort community library funded entirely through grants and donations, the library was excited to recently purchase an AfterSchool Edge tablet with a grant from the New Mexico State Library. The tablet was put into circulation, and is currently checked out by one their young patrons that frequents the library with his mother.

“It’s easy to operate,” said Felipe, age 8. Felipe enjoys the adventure stories and has nearly completed each level!
