A Message from AWE Learning’s New President, Deborah B. Sorgi, Ed.D.

Dear Friends:

Welcome to the first edition of AWE Learning’s Quarterly Newsletter! This enewsletter is designed to provide you with updates and tips and to share success stories and resources. Our goal is to provide you with valuable information that you will find useful!

I am proud to be at the helm of AWE Learning, leading an exceptional group of talented people, all dedicated to bringing digital learning solutions to libraries throughout the country. I bring a passion for education, having served as both an educator and publishing executive for the past three decades. I hope to meet many of you as I attend conferences and tradeshows, such as PLA (check out the side bar for a team photo of our group in Denver at this year’s PLA!).

Stay tuned for new product launches in the second half of this year! Additionally, be sure to ask about our municipal and non-profit leasing options. Visit us on Facebook or Twitter frequently for updates, new product information, testimonials, funding resources, FAQs, and more.

Here are some interesting facts about AWE Learning products:

  • In more 47% of public libraries in the United States
  • In more than 10,000 locations
  • Provided more than 235 million hours of learning
  • More 22,000 digital learning applications or activities

Please feel free to reach out to us with your questions, ideas and suggestions. Together, let’s share information, experiences, and expertise in the area of library and information science. We look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Deborah B. Sorgi, Ed.D.
President

Leasing Options Now Available

AWE Learning, in association with Baystone Government Finance, a division of KS StateBank, is now offering municipal and non-profit leasing. A lease purchase agreement is a way for public, private, and non-profit libraries to preserve cash, control budgets, and do away with lengthy and expensive bond referendums. AWE Learning is offering this option for you to finance your purchases over the course of 2-5 years.

Product Highlight: AWE Learning Customer Portal

Blog Launch - Customer Portal

Our Customer Portal allows you to view utilization reports, track usage, customize content, and download supplementary materials for your early learners. Use these reporting features to demonstrate the value of the workstation to your patrons. Additionally, you can learn about the users’ areas of interest to plan library events and activities.

If you are currently an AWE Learning Customer and do not know your username and/or password to access your portal account, please contact our Customer Support team.

We Love Our Customers!

Maricopa County in Arizona has been a customer of AWE Learning since 2011. They recently invested in upgrading all sixteen (16) of their Early Literacy Stations. This very innovative library system is implementing STEM and Creative Spaces. Tara Carpenter, Youth Services Manager, has been pushing for these innovative changes since she joined the staff at Maricopa County. Ms. Carpenter notes, “These Early Literacy stations will greatly enhance our ability to provide fun, interactive, and educational experiences to kids at our branches. The STEM focused games provided on the AWE Learning workstation are engaging and popular with our young library users.”

Our Team at PLA

The AWE Learning team was excited to attend this year’s Public Library Association conference in Denver in April. PLA 2016 was a great chance to meet wonderful AWE Learning customers, as well as learn a few new tricks for early literacy and digital learning.
