Customer Spotlights

Sunrise Mountain Library, Peoria, AZ

Peoria Public Library System, in Peoria, AZ, purchased 6 new Early Literacy Stations (Bilingual Spanish), in August 2017. The Library System includes 2 branches; the Main Branch and Sunrise Mountain Branch. “They [the workstations] are in the children’s section and are used almost constantly with kids waiting to get a turn,” said Heather Sorden, Library Operations Coordinator at Sunrise Mountain Library.

St. Mary’s Public Library, PA

Children enjoy visiting St. Mary’s Public Library, in St. Mary’s, PA, to go on the AWE Learning workstations. Pictured on the right, Lauren, age 4, loves playing on La Casa de Dora. She loves helping Dora, and her brother, Jacob, age 2, likes to help his sister play.

Jacob and Lauren’s Mom likes the computers because they are age-appropriate and have her kids’ favorite characters. Her favorite part is that they are safe and she does not have to worry about advertisements popping up or sending them to sites that are not kid friendly.

Leslie Swope, Library Director said, “The library likes the computers because they are virtually indestructible! Little children have pounded on the keyboards and mouse, and they work just as great as the day we received them!”

Customer Support Tips

Tablet Safety

AWE Learning Tablets should be powered down daily. Rebooting the system helps to maintain software integrity.

AWE Learning Customer Support recommends shutting down the unit at the end of each day. Begin with a fresh startup each morning, for best results. Do not keep the tablet plugged in while playing as this can damage the charging port

Headphone Use with HP All-In-One

Save the audio port on your AWE Learning workstation from damage. You must plug in your headphones to the Re-plug before plugging into the HP All-In-One audio port.

Every purchase of a new AWE Learning All-In-One system includes a Re-plug. Re-plugs can also be purchased through our Online Store.
