Customer Spotlight: Jasper Public Library, Texas

At the beginning of 2019, the Jasper Public Library, located in Jasper, Texas, installed three (3) AWE Learning workstations in the library’s regular computer lab. Parents needing to do their own computer work have been thrilled to have a safe place for their children to work and learn computer skills in close proximity to them.

Visitors love the variety of content and STEM programs available on the workstations. Parents like that literacy is a focus but also like the cognitive skills for higher learning and content for a wide range of ages. Additionally, parents appreciate that the workstations are not web-based.

Have You Seen the NEW Platinum Workstation?

Early Literacy Station™ Platinum, Bilingual Spanish Literacy Station Platinum, and AfterSchool Edge™ Platinum, just launched in January! Platinum features 75+ STREAM-aligned titles per workstation and the option to add more content by purchasing additional bundles, including coding!

Contact us today to schedule a demo to see the NEW avatars, interfaces, content, and more!

Featured Platinum Title: Writing Wizard

Writing Wizard and Cursive Writing Wizard, by L’Escapadou, provide users the opportunity to learn how to trace. Early learners can practice tracing uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, shapes, words, and more!

AWE Learning’s touchscreen All-In-One and Tablet allow young learners to practice tracing right on the screen! Help them practice and improve their handwriting!

Professional Development

With Summer right around the corner, preventing summer slide is on our minds. Summer slide is the tendency for students to lose some of the achievements they made during the school year. Below are some tips on preventing summer slide:

  • Incorporate math games into your daily routine with your young learner.
  • Play Scrabble to build vocabulary.
  • Have a Summer Reading contest at your library.

Below are some additional links to tips on preventing summer slide for the early learners in your community:
